Introducing Webinar Wednesday!
At The Global Travel Group, we’ve listened to member feedback, and wanted to ensure that we continue to support agents in their training and development. As part of this initiative, we’ve implemented a central webinar hosting facility that will form the basis of ongoing learning for our members and their staff.
Knowledge is power.
Launching Webinar Wednesday has allowed us to give our members the tools to progress and grow their travel businesses. From tour operators, tourist boards and hoteliers to head office departments including marketing, commercial, finance and IT, we’ve shone new light on Wednesday mornings to give our members invaluable knowledge to push their business forward.
Webinars vary in content, depending on the presenter however, the purpose of each webinar is to provide product knowledge to ensure our members are kept up-to-date with our preferred suppliers.
How it works…
Our members have the opportunity to re-watch the recorded webinar and download the slides, which are sent out to all members after the webinar takes place. We also have a dedicated area on our agent intranet, Horizon to help our members brush up on everything they’ve learnt or catch up on what they might have missed. Some even use it as a training tool for their own staff.
We’ve received some fantastic feedback so far from a wide range of members. Webinar Wednesday is currently in its infancy; however we are planning to make it a mainstay within the marketing support we provide to our members.
