There is also a team of fabulous Membership Services Managers that constantly work out on the road, visiting you in your place of business for ongoing practical help and support.

The Global Travel Group work with a large number of trade suppliers giving you access to a variety of different holidays. We have commercial agreements with over 170 trade suppliers including the largest in mass market package holidays through to much more niche operators. As well as Tour Operators we also work directly with airlines and  accommodation units around the world. Information Technology Support

Sadly, not all of our brains are hard-wired to understand all of that technology stuff that we use on a daily basis and here at Global, this is something that we are very aware of.

So we searched high and low and found some of the finest ‘IT Whizzes’ out there. We gave them an office and a desk complete with computer, and with that our full time IT Development, Operations and Help Desk department was born.

Based at Head Office, our IT department includes a team of maintenance engineers at your disposal to provide fault resolution, with a door to door, hassle free, next day delivery service for any IT related problems you may encounter.

Your initial two week travel training course is designed to provide you with everything you need to know about starting your own travel business. The training team have years of industry experience and knowledge to fully prepare you with an excellent grounding for your exciting new venture.


The Training Academy is proud to fulfil the training needs of The Global Travel Group members. Our brief is simple… to prepare our agents to a level where they can trade confidently, efficiently and profitably. With this in mind, we offer a full range of flexible learning solutions, from classroom based sessions for new starters and experienced travel professionals, to a wide range of downloadable training and information guides.

With over 30 years combined travel industry experience, our training team is committed to training excellence and holds the needs of our agents in the highest regard.


Our ongoing training and development is our fantastic online training system, giving you access to over 100 specialised training modules.

The training modules are easy to follow and will provide you with all the key ingredients to ensure you are ahead of the competition.


We regularly work alongside a number of our trade suppliers and host regional training roadshows where you will get to meet other The Global Travel Group members, as well as being able to speak to our trade suppliers and learn more about their products and offers. These events are free of charge and refreshments are always provided throughout the day.


CPD provides a chance for you to improve your travel industry knowledge and other workplace skills, through tour operator training, educational trips and professional qualifications.
